I saw a lower price on similar itinerary that was booked within 24hours. Mayur from IE customer service made it very easy for me to rebook the travel and helped on cancelling the original ticket. Thank you Mayur for your AWESOME support and customer service. IE Team has built a Great CS Team who knows what customer want and help them. Thanks much Mayur and Team!.
I also noted a software limitation to Mayur, he told he will bring it to IT department (Limitation: in this case of lower price for similar itinerary, Indian Eagle do not allow us to book second ticket and then cancel the first one after second ticket gets confirmed. Currently, we have to take a risk of unknown price increase and cancel the first ticket, then only we can book the lower priced ticket. -Possible usecase can be. if user is booking similar tickets more than once, provide notification/warning and option to input the reason for double booking, (eg:lower priced itinerary on same dates, lower priced itinerary on different dates, lower price with different itinerary...)
