Have been living at my current address for 11 years & a few times I’ve ordered online and had it delivered. This week I ordered 1 item & when I got the confirmation email the shipping address was my previous address from 11 years ago. I immediately called customer service but “because I waited over an hour to call …. They could not change the shipping address.”
After several calls to them, getting the same answer- one rep stated “I could send it back to the warehouse & we will credit your account once received “ (well - you can change THAT in the system but not the shipping address? And how ironic that their bill comes to the right address)
I was told “to wait for the UPS tracking email & I could change it through them”
WRONG …. After FINALLY getting a person, UPS told me “they could only change the street address…. Not the street address and the town …. & their client- JC Penney - should have called them to correct the issue as soon as I called them ….”
