Bought a gold rope necklace a few years ago with lifetime warranty. It literally broke trying to put it on the other day. I sent it in for repair ... they repaired it and just melted the broken piece back together and you can see where it was repaired. LOL. It does not even flex like normal where it was melted.
BTW the same necklace on Ebay would be half the cost. They add markup just for the ability to do business with them, then do shoddy repairs.
