Not A Happy Customer!
Wednesday 20th March....My 1st experience was that the central Milton Keynes shop assistance did not know anything and was no help at all....when I asked could they call another branch to see if they have stock I was told I can find the number on their website and call them myself. Unfortunately they had No stock either, but I could order on line (why do JD charge for click & collect to their store?) I then proceeded to order on line at 6pm on my phone and I paid for the 24hr delivery service of £4.99. To deliver to another address as it was a present for my partner.The Next day Thursday at 5pm my item still hadn’t arrived, I then used their text chat service and was advised the goods can be delivered anytime up to 10pm. Friday morning - still no delivery! I had to call there customer service to get more information, I was advised the goods have not been dispatched as they were short of stock at that moment but I would be refunded the £4.99, i was asked if I wanted to cancel my order, I replied no as I was was still hopeing the item would still come, I was very disappointed as this was a birthday present if I had known in advance they had no stock I could have ordered something else but it was now Friday and the birthday was Saturday. I have just rung customer service up and have been told my order has been cancelled??? No email was sent to advise me of this and my money was taken out of my account..... REALLY.....I shall not be ordering from JD again!
