I had the misfortune of needing an exchange for a xmas gift , I was not allowed a credit note or an exchange without a receipt , not a good way to keep your customers happy .
so I returned with the receipt and this time they would nt refund the item because my debit card had no signature on it , well most of the time you just put your pin in , but because your shop want a signature I was not allowed a refund, so I left the shop fuming..... then I stopped signed my card and went back in, a different sales girl served me but the manager was obviously saying something behind me because the sales girl kept looking at her then asked if she should do the refund or not, the manager then said no don't do it her cards not signed and the sales assistant said yes it is. so finally feeling like I was breaking the law and doing something illegal I got my refund.
I promise I shall never purchase anything from JD store again.
I understand my card should be signed , but all she had to say sign your card and sign here. job done. my go through the rigmarole of leaving the store , signing my card out side , to go in a try again.
I have workied in retail for 8 years by the way.
