Terrible customer service. I ordered a pair of shoes online in size 6.5 from their website. Delivery was quick but they sent a size 6. I foolishly thought I would go in to the shop and simply exchange the product. No not that simple I was informed by the manager that I couldn’t have the shoes in that size at the price I paid because they were classed as an adult size so I would have to pay a further £30 to reorder the size I wanted. I argued the case that they should supply the product that I ordered at the price I paid. They offered a full refund. I decided that as it’s getting close to Christmas that and as this item is a present for my son i decided to suck it up and pay the additional £30 and reordered in the shop. They were apologetic and gave me a £10 voucher which I have yet to receive. The delivery was again quick but again they sent the wrong size, now a 7.5. I rang the customer help line and they apologised and said it was unacceptable and that they would ring back. They didn’t. I rang again and they apologised again and they said I should order a new pair and get a refund, I went to order and now they are out of stock. So I have now ordered from Nike direct. To summarise I have learnt that their apologies are empty. Don’t trust the price or the sizes on their website. A £10 voucher is not going to cut it when factored against the cost of petroleum and parking in Cambridge. Most of all the time wasted just trying to buy a pair of trainers is ridiculous. What should have been a simple transaction has been turned into a marathon. Next time I will definitely shop elsewhere. Sorry JD sports appalling customer service.
