I have been awaiting a refund on an item I returned two months ago. Continual fob off from customer service is that the "refund has been requested". Stupidly, I since placed another order with JD (a mistake I shall NOT make again). Item was "lost in transit" and I have now been waiting over a week for a refund from that. Fob off once again from customer services is that the "refund has been requested". I have today taken advice from Citizens Advice, lodged a formal complaint and will be taking this all the way. It appears to be JD's MO to sit on their customers' hard-earned money and fail to refund for items returned or never received in the first place. I can receive an instant refund from the likes of Primark, but with JD it's a full time project management job - and still without success. Absolutely criminal. Disgusting customer service.
