A few of the review resonates with my recent bad experience. Kiwi.com had a failed transaction causing check-in denial at the airport, I have to paid the shortfall to board the flight. Upon feedback, they gave me all kinds of excuses, evading from the hardcopy evidence provided by airline. I think the disinterested customer service is trying to get an easy way out of issues.
