WAY TO GET MONEY BACK FROM LASTMINUTE.COM MIGHT BE HELPFUL FOR OTHER PEOPLE! KEEP READING: so I booked with last minute.com a couple of weeks ago and got free cancellation with my holiday and I paid for half of the holiday up front which was €664 and I cancelled it the next day not thinking there would be an issue with the refund. However, a week later lastminute.com tried to rob over €100 out of my bank account which my bank blocked and shortly after I get an email from lastminute.com saying they had been trying to contact me “several times” which was just a lie and said I owe over €800 of a cancellation fee and if I do not pay in 10 days they’ll be bringing me to court which is laughable. Anyways I tried to contact them which of course was impossible. However, my bank had contacted them and I explained what happened and they said I could get my money back through a CHARGEBACK which I just had to fill out a dispute form for with proof I’d be trying to contact lastminute.com which I did. Please ring your banks and mention the word CHARGEBACK they will be able to help you be it a refund you didn’t get or a service you paid for that you didn’t get. They can put it on your bank statement as a charge back!! Now I’m not sure if every bank is the same but this was the case for me it’s worth a try!
