Still trying to get refunded for my trip that I had to cancel due to Ryanair cancelling the return flight home. Due to personal commitments, I was unable to extend the trip or accept an alternative flight. After endless messages, as you are unable to talk to anyone, and endless conflicting information, whilst lastminute booked my trip in its entirety and took my cancellation, my outgoing flight is still live on Ryanair. I requested this be cancelled and refunded; however, I was informed I would need to request this with Ryanair myself. Upon calling Ryanair once again, I was informed the responsibility lies with lastminute.com to complete it, and I was informed I would be entitled to the refund. Back to lastminute.com I go… And lo and behold, still no refund, and the flight is still live. Now I need written confirmation from Ryanair regarding I can cancel a flight I'm not able to use and receive a full refund for a trip that had to be cancelled through no fault of my own.
