I am extremely disappointed and disillusioned to see the poor quality of LG ACs. Almost every 2 year, one is being left in a state where there is no option but to buy a new AC. The cost of maintaining LG ACs is becoming exponentially higher that the one-time buy cost itself. The quality of copper coils/tubes is so bad that every season one has to spend huge amounts of money in getting the leekages fixed and gas filled. This scenario has been there with several models of LG ACs. May be this is what is the strategy of LG now, gather more money through repair and AMC by deteriorating the quality of the product. On top of this, even the service centres are not paying any heed to customer requests. More than 24hrs elapsed but no one has turned up despite booking for today. No option left but to shift to a better brand. All may kindly re-evaluate before buying LG ACs.
