After purchasing a LG convection oven in January 2025, the lettering has disappeared and other places are rapidly becoming unreadable. I contacted customer service and this defect is called "normal" wear on the appliance. How can someone cook without the temperature settings. I thought LG products were quality and they would stand behind their products. We all know how much appliances have increased in price over the past few years but I would expect that something so minor (yet so important) wouldn't be overlooked in QA. Doesn't someone actually USE these appliances before they are mass produced? As I said, this oven is less than one year old and this normal wear began three months ago. I'm very disappointed with the response and lack of concern over something so minor that LG could potentially resolve easily. I will certainly reconsider my choices more carefully when purchasing major appliances in the future.
