Had a frustrating day trying to find a retailer who ACTUALLY PHYSICALLY stocks Smeg fridges in Leicestershire. Drew a blank at Marks Electrical and Curry’s - advised to look online and order! N.B. (without visiting John Lewis, running out of time by now, enquiry as to whether stocks exist in store diverted via call centre, operative didn’t have a clue/drew a blank - was advised to visit store - so cannot say that there aren’t any Smeg fridges on display - to be fair). At almost 5pm I rang Long Eaton Appliances and explained my dilemma, they had all of the models on display so that we would be able to physically compare in terms of height/capacity mainly. They even unwrapped one from their warehouse new stocks so that we could look at the full range. We visited today, couldn’t be more happy! Every price and offer from other retailers was matched! We opted for a larger fridge/freezer in the Smeg range which we wouldn’t have chosen otherwise! We also ordered a Fischer Paycal dishwasher drawer which we were going to order elsewhere with an offer! On top of that Smeg will put 6 bottles of Italian Prosecco in with the order, and delivery is included free, we don’t need the appliances until next March and that is ok too!! Pinch me! No pressure sales persons hanging around either. Score and recommendation from us is 10/10 , 5 Star old school business service bang up to date!
