We bought a Clarke 720 Generator advertised in the machine mart book and on the box as a Quiet Generator ideal for camping. THIS GENERATOR IS NOT QUIET!
Also it's advertised as 65 DB but it's actually 95db...Apparently it's 65 DB from 7 metres away ! Who has their Generator 7 metres away from their motor home??
Machine Mart refused a refund and said if we wanted a credit note the generator had to be sent away for a check and this would take 2 weeks. I've spent a lot of money in their store but will think twice about going there again!
