Over the past 11 months, my primary goal was to gain a better understanding of macro tracking and put it into practice, all while working towards losing weight. With the guidance of my coach, I embarked on this journey, gradually learning how to balance proteins, carbohydrates, and fats in a way that aligned with my goals.
At first, tracking macros felt like a challenge—understanding portion sizes, balancing meals, and ensuring I stayed within my targets required a lot of focus. But my coach was incredibly supportive throughout the process. They helped me set realistic targets,
and most importantly, maintain a positive mindset when things didn’t always go according to plan.
There were certainly hurdles along the way. However, with my coach's consistent encouragement I started seeing progress. Slowly, my clothes started to fit better but more than that, I began to notice changes in my energy levels and relationship with food.
By the end of these 12 months, I lost a little bit of weight but also gained a deeper understanding of how to fuel my body effectively. This experience has been about more than just hitting a target weight—it has empowered me to make informed choices and understand how different foods impact my body.
