“When I began my coaching here, I was skeptical. As a 66 year old, post menopausal woman, I had tried everything to lose the extra weight I had gained. I really didn’t think it was possible to lose the weight at my age and had begun to accept that. I thought I should at least give it a try and hired a coach. I was assigned Coach Andrew. I didn’t know what to expect, but Andrew reassured me that I could actually lose the weight if I followed the plan. He set my macros and I got to work. After about 3 months I decided to add the fitness portion and started some great workouts at the gym which I love! I was able to lose the initial weight and went on to lose 28 lbs. “I remember the first time Colin called me out on my s***. Everything he said was true and I needed to hear it. I knew then I wasn't going to get anything past this guy. After that, I was able to move forward. He was able to show me a lot of what was holding me back, was inside of me. I was tracking, I was exercising, I was prepping, and the scale wasn't moving. But he understood my scale phobia. He understood my self sabotaging. He understood my ADHD brain. When the number on the scale just wouldn't move and I wanted to quit but he didn't let me. I don't know how long It took but eventually the number moved 2 lbs in one day. He taught me so many things about weight loss and about perseverance and about playing the long game. I think the most important thing I learned was I can love myself whether I'm losing weight or not. Regardless of what the number on the scale says, It doesn't make me a bad person. Eating potato chips does not make me a bad person lol.... Technically... it's a vegetable! I didn't know after 59 years I could learn those things but I did.”
