I’ve followed Macros Inc on Facebook for several years and I’ve learned invaluable information there: from how to track macros to how to make recipes on a food tracking app, what macro numbers I should use for my goals, even finding the “best” protein powder! But about seven months ago I found myself unmotivated and lacked accountability which lead to an undesired 15lb weight increase; at 5’2” that’s pretty significant. I signed up for nutrition coaching first, then added fitness. Within two and a half months, I had reached my goal weight and have maintained it for the past four months. Once I reached that goal and felt like I was back to a good habit of nutrition tracking, I switched to just fitness coaching. Tomorrow is my last day with coaching and I could not be more happy with my progress. I have been so well-supported throughout this journey and am well-equipped to go solo. I wholeheartedly recommend coaching; whether you’re a seasoned macro-tracking gym rat who needs a tune-up or you’re brand new to fitness & nutrition tracking; coaching will help you reach your goals and prepare you for maintaining them on your own. And a special shoutout to my coach, Tina Cox, who listened to me, guided me, reassured me and equipped me with so much positive energy, skill and expertise all without ever making me feel anything but good about my journey…no shame, no guilt, but always with understanding, using simple and effective techniques.
