“I absolutely could not have done this alone. A coach who’s knowledgeable patient and always there to help has made a huge difference in my life. I’m still working at it and will continue to keep plugging away at it because it absolutely works.”
“Lara has completely changed my life over the past 12 months. With her guidance, I’ve lost 40 pounds and an incredible 53.5 inches in a way that felt sustainable and empowering. She provided clear nutrition strategies, realistic fitness plans, and constant encouragement that kept me consistent even when motivation was low. Lara truly listens and personalizes everything, which made me feel supported rather than overwhelmed. Her coaching helped me build confidence, discipline, and a healthier mindset. I’m so grateful for her expertise and support, and I can’t recommend her enough.”
“Colt did a wonderful job of laying out the weekly plan of attack on my health journey. He was very thorough on his critiques during my weekly check-ins. He was also a great help in developing my workout program.”
“Overall great experience with Macros Inc. and with Colin DeWolfe as my coach. I am someone who always considered themselves as above average fitness. However knowing all the right things (macros, health, and fitness) is different than actually doing the right things. I find that Macros Inc. nutrition coaching is the perfect boost for accountability. I did a year’s worth of coaching and got my weight down from 195lbs to finishing the year at 175lbs. I am 47 years old and 5’9” tall, my original goal was to get below 170 and I’ve fluctuated between 172-176 the past couple months. I have a desk job, I travel for work several times per year. I lift weights a couple times per week, I run 10-15 miles per week and averaged around 10k steps per day in 2025. Colin definitely did a good job at keeping me accountable, discussing the importance of sleep, stress management, and keeping it real on how alcohol can affect progress. I can definitely see myself coming back as a client in the future, probably for nutrition + fitness. Remember, it’s what you put into it and I for sure could’ve adhered a little better at times and had even more progress, but life happens (work events, travel, vacations, holidays, my mother passed away). Life will always throw us curve balls, but if we’re consistent the majority of the time you’ll have progress. For now, my goals for 2026 are to run a full marathon which I’ve already started ramping up my running mileage for. To coincide with marathon training, I’m also taking a year off from alcohol which I’m definitely feeling the benefits 4 months in. Again, overall a great experience with a great coach which I’d consider a solid investment in my health. Highly recommended if you’re on the fence!”
“It's not an exaggeration to say that receiving coaching through Macros Inc has been the single most valuable food/nutrition related experience in my life. One (of MANY) of the biggest things I appreciate about Macros Inc was the care that was put into asking me about my needs and preferences during the intake process, and then matching me to the coach who was right for me. My coach is Rachel, and she is PHENOMENAL -- I couldn't be more grateful for her guidance, and for her ability to be so patient and understanding when I fell off track (many times) while still holding me accountable and helping me get back on track, over and over. I always felt like my strengths were emphasized, and I was NEVER shamed for my "failures."
I've gained such an immense amount of knowledge and skills that have helped me FINALLY (after a literal LIFETIME of yo-yo dieting, overeating/restiction cycles, and struggling with my weight) understand how to create SUSTAINABLE habits and make lifestyle changes that can actually be lifelong. I've chosen to stay in coaching for over a year after I hit my lowest weight, and that's because, after Rachel helped me learn to track and lose the weight, she then helped me learn how to navigate maintaining my desired weight. After that, we shifted into learning intuitive eating and moving away from tracking my food altogether.
Honestly, it's that second part of my coaching experience (which was actually a lot longer than the weightloss part) that has been most valuable to me. For me, coaching was an investment in myself that has led to gains that will last me a lifetime. Coming from someone who has tried it all over the course of literal decades, I truly can't recommend Macros Inc coaching highly enough. I also want to emphasize, for those who are like me and have struggled with weight and eating for a long time, how worthwhile it is to stick with it after the weight has come off. It's not that you'll be perfect forever if you do, but you'll have the skills you need to get yourself back on track, instead of falling back into the cycle of extremes. Breaking the cycle is SO incredibly worth it.”
“Working with Lara Bova through Macros plus coaching has been a transformative experience for me—far beyond just weight loss. Lara helped me see that the number on the scale is simply feedback, not a measure of my worth. She taught me the importance of a solid bedtime routine and how the words I speak to myself truly matter. Lara met me exactly where I was, guiding me through nutrition, protein intake, and most importantly, how to love my body as it is—today, right now. Thanks to her support, I’ve lost about 5 pounds, but the real victory is the mindset shift and the confidence I’ve gained. Lara is an amazing coach, and I highly recommend her. I honestly cannot thank her enough.”
“Over the course of over two years, I spoke with Danielle through chat on a weekly basis. What I loved about having Danielle as a coach is how as a neutral third party she held me accountable in a way that was both motivating and on point to help me see the changes I needed to make for a healthier lifestyle. I learned how impactful my lack of work life balance is on my food choices and getting my steps in. I didn’t realize how much my poor sleep habits were negatively affecting my nutrition. Danielle helped me to see how important rest and sleep affect my nutrition. She also was essential in getting me to focus on protein intake and planning ahead. She suggested the company Clean Eatz which was a game changer for my macros counting and also encouraged me to keep meal prep simple. I learned so many new skills I needed to implement in my life and will continue to remember these skills and tips as I continue on my health and fitness journey. My work life balance still needs to improve and I will have Danielle in my head now telling me, get up, get your steps in, and put yourself first. I loved the supportive Macros community which I’ll continue to stay involved in. I it’s one of the most supportive groups I’ve been involved in over the years and I’m grateful to have had such an amazing coach as Danielle to provide me with the education and guidance I needed to feel confident in my weight loss journey. I no longer feel out of control like when I started. I’m confident I can reach my weight loss goals moving forward. Thank you for everything.”
“Nothing shy of amazing!!! Coach Danielle was the answer to a prayer! I was someone who “tried everything”. Every “diet”, cutting things out, workout fads, with little to no success. My coach taught me how to balance my meals, count my macros, without cutting out treats, coffee creamer, sushi, or that slice of cake at the party! The result…almost 50 POUNDS gone and I know gone forever as long as I stick to the good habits and planning I learned from my coach.”
“I was quite nervous and shy in the beginning but was thrilled to be part of the group strive for strong. I loved reading ALL the comments in that group concerning any question.
I liked my coach as well as your whole team because of his/your calm and respectful friendliness, always ready to help and with good ideas concerning any questions. My coacn supported me throughout some. difficult private situations (like the wedding of my daughter, a big operation on the facial skull of my son after a sporting accident, handball and a suicidal attempt of my mother). Additionally I have a lot going on on the private sector, lots of meetings, invitations and get togethers with friends, not only on the weekends but throughout the week on a regular basis. So I find it hard to stay on track. And fight with being consistent. He also did not judge when I derailed one day and I just continued the next day. So all in all it was a success for me and a good time. And I am very thankful for him.”
“My coach was Shelby and she is absolutely amazing.
Nov 2024: 168lbs, size 10/12
October 2025: 138 lbs, size 2
We did a deficit for 6 months, then 1 month maintainance, 2 month bulk, and 1 month mini cut. The final pic is at the end of that. I am now back in a bulk for the winter :)
Background:College athlete that now works a demanding desk job with frequent travel. Had 2 c-sections in 19 months, pregnancy kicked my butt (70 lb weight gain with my first, 35 lb weight gain with my second. delivered both babies at 200 lbs). With 2 under 2 and a full life, I knew I needed help with nutrition and sustainable habits because spending hours a day in the gym was not gonna happen.
Long version
I signed up for a year of nutrition coaching during the Black Friday sale. I knew I could probably hit my straight fat loss goals with 6 months of extreme dedication but wanted to build confidence navigating a deficit AND maintaining that given the amount of travel and eating out I do. Over the course of the year I ended up eating ~50% of my meals out of the house...I went on monthly work trips where I had to guesstimate caloric intake, had family vacations, kids bithday parties, and still built in time for weekly bakery dates with my croissant obsessed toddler. And I STILL had results.
With Shelby, this experience of fat loss was COMPLETELY different than the restrictive meal plans and punishing two-a-day workouts I did in my 20s. We chatted about my goals, any lifestyle and dietary limitations, and created a plan for my physique that was sustainable and worked for me. We adjusted together as we dialed into my preferences (would rather eat a little less than increase my TDEE by walking more! I calorie bank for the weekends!).
She was straightforward and offered friendly encouragement every step of the way. A big unlock for me was "you can't put in 80% effort and expect perfect results. So choose your hard and create goals that are appropriate for the bandwidth you have right now. Be realistic and celebrate all of your work and accomplishments!" That meant we navigated every season of life...weaning from breastfeeding, parenting 2 under 2 with a full time job, job promotions, work travel, family events/vacations, and everything in between. We cut, we maintained, and we bulked! We are currently building lean ripped legs and arms to lift my sweet babies even easier. She was realistic about my options when I started plateauing, and was a great partner during the periods when I really wanted to push my limits.
I have full confidence in the skills that we built together and am so grateful that I had Shelby guiding me-- no need to spiral or wonder about the "best" way to do anything. If I had any doubts or wanted to celebrate she was a quick text away! She offered advice, research, tough love, and empathy depending on the problems we tackled together.
The results: I am MULTIPLE inches and 30ish pounds of fat lost, thanks to her support! Went from a size 12 to a size 2 :)
Nov 2024: 167 lbs
October 2025: 138 lbs
Timeline:
Deficit: 8 months
Maintain: 1 month
Mini bulk (10% calorie surplus): 2 months
Mini Cut: 1 month
Workouts:
First few months I did pelvic floor rehab + physical therapy and walked 9k steps a day. Then worked up to weightlifting 3-4x a week with progressive overload. on "recovery" days I did core and mobility work. I average 3-4k steps a day on weekdays, 8k on weekends.”
“I have been training with Krista for over a year, and she has exceeded all of my expectations. The results are evident; I am stronger, healthier both mentallly and physically, and my jeans fit better than they have in two decades. If you are seeking a coach who will motivate you and encourage you to reflect positively on your life choices, Krista is an excellent choice!”
“Coach Champ came into my life and I can’t thank her enough for all her time and knowledge. She taught me not every weekend has to be spent overeating. She taught me to plan ahead and choose wisely. She pushed me MUCH further than I would have ever pushed myself. I don’t fear the future like I used to. I have the knowledge and the tools I need for a lifetime. 10/10 recommend!!”
“I started a while back on macros inc. I lost some and then gained some then I ended up with a wonderful coach not only he inspires me to do better he inspires me to slow down in this fast paced thing called life and focus on healthy habits and not a diet I started at 220 lbs went to the dr and came back with everything abnormal in my body, pre-diabetic, cholesterol. Triglycerides you name it after getting a coach im down 40lbs and just got my blood work back again and im fine! Still need to achieve my weight goal and only with the help with a coach I was able to achieve it thank you and I will forever grateful for your services”
“Lara has been incredible. I’ve always worked out, tried every diet imaginable, and lost weight more times than I can count. Three kids, 50+ hour workweeks, and endless rules from every diet left me constantly restarting every Monday, always “on” or “off.”
I even did macros years ago and lost weight, but without support, I gained it back. So in November 2024, I committed fully and signed up for complete coaching. Twelve months later, I’m down 40 pounds—and I’ve spent half that time maintaining without tracking.
Even though I’d taken nutrition courses and tried every challenge and gimmick, I still second-guessed everything—carrots, fruit, eating after 6pm. Lara helped quiet all that noise. She gave me simple workouts and adjusted them every time life changed, including when I switched careers after 25 years in the same field. I went from lifting 5 days a week to just 3, and my body looks better than it ever has.
I didn’t cut out any foods. I just prioritized protein, ate reasonable portions, and slowly let go of old habits—like baking cookies every weekend. Veggies are still a work in progress, but that’s life. I learned I wasn’t “broken”—I was just eating too much.
One of the biggest moments was buying a full-length mirror recently and realizing I hadn’t seen my whole body in years. Now I walk past it and actually feel proud. This summer I wore a bikini. I wore shorts comfortably for the first time in forever. I feel at peace in my body.
Lara made that possible. Her support, her weekly check-in videos, and her ability to simplify everything helped me build habits I can keep for life. My journey isn’t over, but for the first time, I feel confident I can maintain this. It’s been small, consistent steps—and they added up to life-changing results.”
