Max Life Insurance has unethical business practices. Especially for NRI. When I surrender my policy after 15 years, they are requesting for a bank statement of 15 years back to deposit the money into my account to prove that it was taken from NRE. They continually harass you and even tell lies that there is a surrender fee for a policy that is 15 years old. It is 3 months now and I am still struggling to get my money. They don't care. All they want is your money and nothing else. Please stay away from these people they are robbers out to get your money. I even wrote to the ombudsman and am waiting for their response.
