“A Warning to Anyone Considering Axis Max Life Insurance
I am the owner of two Axis Max Life policies, and I want to strongly caution anyone considering their products.
In June 2024, the company changed my registered email address without my authorization, and since then, I have lost access to both of my policies. Despite repeated attempts to get this corrected, no clarification or resolution has been provided.
As an NRI, I am unable to receive OTPs on my Indian number, making it impossible for me to log in or manage my account. Yet, Axis Max Life continues to debit payments from my account every month.
Over the past year, I have contacted every level of their support system — local branch representatives, NRI services, manager support, and even the grievance redressal officer (GRO) — but I have received only generic, unhelpful responses. No one has taken ownership of the issue, and no investigation has been initiated.
This experience has been extremely distressing. By denying me access to my own policies, Axis Max Life is playing with the financial security and future livelihood of my wife and daughter.
I sincerely hope this serves as a warning to others before they place their trust in this company.”
“Axis max life insurance, they auto debited premium including GST, and I have been following up for the refund, becausethere is GST waiverfor NRIs. It's been 7 months now. I am Scared how I will get my pension from if it's so difficult to get back the money they just deducted from my bank account. I regret the entire experience. The employee, who gave me the policy from Yes bank is also not responsible.”

“I am compelled to share my experience with Max Life Insurance due to continued negligence and a lack of accountability from their customer service and branch personnel.
Over the past three years, I have repeatedly requested a correction in my date of birth in their records. Despite submitting all required and valid documents—including my Birth Certificate, High School Certificate, PAN Card, and Aadhaar Card—the update has not been made to date.
What has been even more disappointing is the unprofessional conduct of certain staff members, including managers and customer support representatives, who have often been dismissive, uncooperative, and at times disrespectful during interactions. This has left me feeling helpless and frustrated, with no clear resolution in sight.
As a policyholder, I expect a minimum level of responsiveness and professionalism—especially from a reputed insurance provider. Unfortunately, my experience has been quite the opposite.
I am now considering filing a formal complaint with the Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority of India (IRDAI) and pursuing the matter through appropriate consumer grievance channels.
I hope this review encourages the company to take customer issues more seriously and improves their service standards.

Totally fraud company. its big scam is going on under the table of insurance in india .. Our hard core money is going into garbage. Adviced to all don't take any policy from MaX insurance.
