“I had the worst experience with Max Life Insurance. I requested the cancellation of my policy during the free look period, expecting a straightforward process. However, the company dragged it out for months, ignoring my repeated follow-ups. To make matters worse, after all the delays, Shivam Grewal, the Deputy Manager, informed me that they couldn't proceed with the cancellation because the free look period had expired! This is utterly unacceptable from my personal experience, I strongly advise against taking any policy with Max Life Insurance”

“Taken 2 policies in 2011 & 2013--- promised that bonus would be minimum 6% but still now iam receiving on an average of 2.1-2.2 % only..if want to with draw i am getting 80% of my principle amount only.

“It's the worst company to work for.
1) There is so much of politics and torcher. The higher management calls Branch manager and says I want to escalate this person so give him/her a bad review and draft mail to me saying he/she is not punctual. So that higher management can remove their frustration for particular employees.
2) They torcher you by shifting you to small villages to work from that branch.
3) They doesn't give you holidays if you have leaves above 50, still they will not provide you leaves on critical days like if someone is dead or any family emergency.
4) No increment at all, after so much of torcher they will pressurize to complete target and if not done they will humiliate you in front of everyone.
5) Some of the Manager says employees to dress up properly, to girls they say do makeup and come to office.”

“No customer service or any contact after you’ve bought the policy. The only call you will get it to pay your premium. After paying for 6 years 3 lakhs rupees they paid me only 230000 back even though I should get 270000 according to the surrender value. It took me 5 months to surrender and I only got through someone because of Instagram. I’ve lost 70k ! And now even though I’ve complained in IRDAI still no one has contacted me. Fraud company cheating it’s users. I have no idea how the government is allowing a company like this to operate. Please read thousands of other reviews on Instagram and google to see how they’ve cheated so many people. They do not give you your money back.”

“Max Life Insurance has unethical business practices. Especially for NRI. When I surrender my policy after 15 years, they are requesting for a bank statement of 15 years back to deposit the money into my account to prove that it was taken from NRE. They continually harass you and even tell lies that there is a surrender fee for a policy that is 15 years old. It is 3 months now and I am still struggling to get my money. They don't care. All they want is your money and nothing else. Please stay away from these people they are robbers out to get your money. I even wrote to the ombudsman and am waiting for their response.”
“These guys are real thugs. All they live for is make money out of yours. They have disabled the Google reviews and loaded their own sites with fake reviews.
These guys charge thousands in the name of set up and administration fees and then lock your money up. There’s absolutely no customer service and even if you get one you get an ignorant person with no knowledge of insurance or anything about your product.
They never stop chasing you for the premiums. They have no one to answer your questions. And when want to surrender the policy, they change the rules as they go and lock your money for three extra months after the surrender to get their cut before their release your money.
Please don’t go with these guys they will make you regret.”
“I took this policy last year. In the renewal policy, Misbah Hameedakhtar has been misguiding throughout the last two months. I asked him several times to provide the contact information of the person handling NRI accounts. In order to waive off the gst, he asked me for documents through whatsapp several times. He failed to produce an official document, last time he gave some email ids to send the documents. I have sent them and still no response from them. So this time, I believe Pallavi Sonawane is completely ignorant and does not know the rules of the country where I am residing. Both Misbah and Pallavi are highly incompetent. Roughly, 17,000 inr refund is due from max life.
As somebody said below in a review that NRI service is horrible. The same is my experience. PALLAVI SONAWANE IS a complete fraud.”
“awful insurance company. my husband had a brain disorder, signed an insurance policy that was totally misleading and when disaster struck and our pig barn collapsed, 2 weeks after my husband died, they refused to cover anything on the collapsed pig barn. the most anti christian company one can find. susan was absolutely cold hearted. we have paid our premiums with no claims throughout the years and we have wasted our money. please don't use them for any insurance as they find ways to not cover anything.”
