My partner’s account was blocked without any prior notice or explanation. When trying to resolve this issue, we encountered extremely poor customer service. Erin Cleark, in particular, was not only unhelpful but also rude. Despite our attempts to get answers, we don’t know how long it will take to hear back from the escalation team, nor could Erin help out in any way. She seemed extremely uninterested, despite my partner being stressed.
They don’t have any direct number for the escalation team. This has been the worst banking experience we’ve ever had. Consequently, we will be closing both our personal and business accounts with Monzo. Their service is unacceptable and their staff are unprofessional. An official complaint will be made.
