ordered a couple face creams for my wife's birthday since the Canadian site was out of stock. Who knew facial creams were considered hazardous materials and required a special handling fee. Vendor throws in a few sample packets? Better declare those at 36USD each for customs to make sure the customer pays more taxes and fees to import. No sales tax? Maybe once upon a time but Florida has an 7% tax now.
Bottom line my 1.4lb ~80usd package cost me over $150 Canadian to process and import.
