I have a furnished short-term rental apartment. Recently a couple with a dog let their furry friend relieve himself on both the queen size and double bed mattresses during their stay. This meant that both mattresses had to be replaced, which is a big expense for a retired widow. I rely on the rental income, so I had to find good quality, reasonably priced replacement mattresses. A friend recommended National Mattress. I had never heard of them, but I went to the Kitchener store. I was assisted by a very nice and knowledgeable young man. He was really helpful, and I ended up purchasing 2 mattresses. He arranged the delivery for the next day, and I paid a few dollars extra so the delivery men would remove the damaged mattresses from my basement apartment. He also provided me with 2 very large plastic bags that I had to pull up over the damaged mattresses. I'll admit that I wasn't sure if be able to bag them in my own, but it wasn't as challenging as I thought it might be.
The delivery was made as promised - I received updates throughout the day - and the 2 fellows who brought the new mattresses also carried the damaged ones up the stairs and put them into my garage to store until the next "large item" garbage pick-up.
I'm extremely pleased with the service, with the prices, and with the quality of the mattresses I purchased. It was an easy, seamless, process, and my place is ready for my next short-term guests.
