was about to order from an online mattress vendor sight unseen because the local stores we went to in-person were overpriced and unhelpful. we went to kitchener national mattress store. never been before. glad we did it was a very good experience. it has dozens and dozens of mattresses to actually try. and while you can't be sure about the longevity of comfort from a 2 minute in-store trial, you can rule out plenty of mattresses. medium/firm/extra-firm is still pretty subjective in my opinion and we easily ruled out some extra-firm we didn't like and went with one of the national mattress brand options. great value compared to big name brands. great delivery crew. great sales team in the store. they answered our questions quickly with real information but didn't stalk us around the store unless we specifically requested more info or recommendations. national mattress was way better than other local salesrooms or online vendors.
