I ordered a delivery from a major supermarket to a rented holiday home. I confirmed the purchase with my JL app at the time of ordering and all subsequent amendments.
At 2am on my departure day the transaction was declined so the order was cancelled.
I managed to reuse the shopping list and go collect the order involving an extra 40 miles to an already long drive.
All JL cards could tell me was the fraud system says so...and that's it. It's for my protection. So why bother with the confirmations in the app?
A customer service shambles.
