I ordered food from Chowking restaurant at 11.05PM on 2nd of July 2022 60 AED Order was assigned to the branch of chowking in Dubai Mall and I live in DIFC at Financial Metro Station which is 10 mins away from Dubai Mall. By 12:30 pm, one hour and a half later I still did not receive my order. In that amount of time I would have already gone to Dubai Mall myself eaten and come back. I trust I myself along with all the people who use Noon, we try to save time and money by placing the order online. And when food is delayed by 1 hour and a half, food is not delivered at all, then money is not returned back (not even in a form of Noon Credit) I believe the whole Idea of ordering online just is wasted. I have been communicating with Ahmed, who was more rather a bot responding with templated messages. I believe it would cost less to have A bot not people if the idea is to respond people with templates to every message. Then I received a call from Basma who called and claimed that refund cannot be processed because restaurant was already paid by noon she offered for someone to take the food since there wont be a refund anyways. Then she told me to call the driver and to ask him to bring the food (we are talking two hours later) I do not believe that should be in my concern, as an online delivery agent, you should be handling all the mid cooperation. I request to kindly process the refund to my card, for not getting the food nor the service. I should have received my food at 12:05 initially.
