I recently ordered a Smeg kettle from Noon at a promotional price of 649 AED. Unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfactory:
• Address Verification Issues: Despite my address being verified on the Noon app, I was repeatedly informed it was incorrect. I updated it multiple times and even provided it via WhatsApp to the delivery driver, leading to unnecessary delays.
• Delivery Delays: After the address issues, I was told that the delivery was delayed due to the Eid break. While I understand delays during holidays, the lack of proactive communication was disappointing.
• Unauthorized Order Cancellation: Without my consent, my order was canceled. I explicitly communicated my desire to receive the product, not a refund. Despite chats with agents and multiple calls to the service center emphasizing this, my order was still canceled.
• Refund Delays: I was informed that the refund process would take an additional five days. Given that the cancellation was not due to any fault on my part, I requested an immediate refund, which was denied. This delay is unacceptable.
This experience has severely impacted my trust in Noon. I hope they take customer feedback seriously and implement measures to prevent such incidents in the future.
