I have been a Nordstrom Customer from the early 60's. Have never
returned an item. Now I live 3 hours away and at almost 76 years
old driving on freeways and heavy traffic hard on me alone. I ordered
about 15 items and when they arrived there were NO RECEIPTS,
RETURN POSTAGE SHIPPING LABELS??? With my last 30 homes, I
have always lived close and driving not an issue.
Returning items now I had to find a box and wrote down information
helpful to enclose a return. I paid for postage and started having a
bad, sick feeling of the negative Customer Service.
Today I placed an order an spoke to a gentleman in Customer
Service. I asked him what he thought a paper receipt and return
label would cost compare to losing a Customer of many years??
I don't think he cared or was even listening to my concerns.
I retured in 1995 and last month had exterior eye surgery due to
severe car accident. After my conversation the Nordstrom
Agent told me my order was cancelled !!! NO FEELING,CONCERN,
FOR ME ???
NORDSTROM WAS always an A PLUS in Customer Service, but
not anymore. Bill Nordstrom would be rolling over in his grave
at what has happened to his company.
Just charge 10 cents more for the receipt and keep your long
time Customer who spent high end money earlier.
