I placed my order on the 23 August 2020 and knew there was a lead time of approx 8-9 weeks.
Email received on 29 September advising that my sideboard would be delivered by DPD on the 1 October - it did not arrive; further email received from DPD that day advising that they would deliver on 2 October.
I did think it odd that DPD would deliver as I had thought that a piece of furniture would be delivered by Oak World themselves; when the item arrived I realised why it was delivered by DPD as you could lift it up with one hand (this is a piece of furniture which at half price had cost me £219).
Email sent same day requesting collection of item and refund; however this is where problems were encountered; 8 emails and various telephone calls later I finally received my refund on the 30 October. The sideboard was packaged and ready for collection for over 2 weeks and was blocking my front door as I had nowhere else to keep it (I had already purchased a replacement and needed the room). I cannot fault the staff at customer services but this company really needs to brush up on their time management.
