However the service to get a awful, all i wanted was to update the address for the invoice, delivered to the same adress just needed to put the company name on it for the invoice and i was told it was company policy that it was not allowed, and then when i questioned this i was told the computer software cant update the profile, when i asked to escualte this i was told the Managing Directors wouldnt be able to do anything so they wouldnt pass my complaint further.”

I recently purchased an item from Oakworld, but due to a change of mind, I tried to return the box, which was completely unopened. What should have been a simple return process has turned into an absolute nightmare. It’s been 10 days since I first reached out, and I’m still waiting for a callback. Despite sending multiple emails and making several attempts to contact them, there has been no response from their customer service team.
Their lack of communication and disregard for customers is astounding. A company that can’t even manage basic customer service like returns or refunds is a serious red flag. I highly recommend avoiding Oakworld unless you’re prepared for poor service and endless frustration.”

I ordered a tv unit back in June, its not August and I still have not received my order. I've been told that it has been delivered even though the pictures are taken of it in the bottom of the foyer to my flat. Ita clearly states "required signature" dumped and left without my signature.
Now my package is missing, I paid £209 for useless service. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY !!!! Customer service are saying its not their fault and there will be no refund. Joke of a company. I'll be taking this further with a small claims court.”
“Avoid!! We bought a bench from Oak World which turned up in an unsatisfactory condition which means the arm of the bench would fail. After requesting a replacement we were offered £40 money back as compensation or them send a new arm. Neither did we want as the item was going to fail. We therefore asked to use their 30 day refund policy. The refund was agreed and told they would arrange uplift then they would process the refund. It’s now approaching 4 weeks later and numerous emails and still Oak World have not uplifted the item and therefore have not received a refund. We continue to contact them but we are told excuse after excuse. Also it would appear you can not speak to anyone as they are ‘online’ only.”

“Bought the birtley tall bookcase, cheapest of chipboard, laminate cracks easily, arrived damaged, holes in places did not line up correctly, had to try and adapt a fit, upon 2 people moving it less than a couple of inch, the skirt split and broke away, the piece of garbage was slung into the yard, expensive burning wood, please avoid.”

“I bought a small sideboard in February 2003. Ordering payment and delivery all went well. The cabinet was ok for what I paid for it but in less than a year the middle drawer wouldn’t close. As it was still under warranty I contacted OakWorld and was initially told, without any evidence at all, it was due to “misuse”. I sent several photos of the runner which had come away and it took 3 photographs for them to finally accept it was, in fact, a fault but not, they told me from poor quality workmanship but through “normal wear and tear”. Quite damning really if they believe the quality of their workmanship lasts less than 12 months. I was told the cabinet would be collected and repaired under the warranty “the next time a driver was in my area”. No word of this happening to date. I am very surprised by the many “excellent” reviews on TrustPilot because quite honestly I would never recommend them to anyone.”
“The chest of drawers was delivered to a house in the next street and left in the garden. Picture shows it there and when we went to look less than 30 mins later it was gone. Right number wrong st. Delbert company furdeco were awful. Put us on hold and then cut us off three times. OakWorld just as bad. Furdeco will do nothing until they report stolen to police which I expect they won’t bother to do. OakWorld directed us to a web page to report it……. It’s a blank page. Terrible service and I’ll now have to go to my credit card company to get my £305 back. Don’t order anything!”

Contacted them and they assured me that it would be delivered and I just had to wait for the courier to contact me. Didn’t hear anything so contacted them again. Customer service team didn’t sound bothered at all and again told me to wait for the courier to contact me. Didn’t hear anything after a while so contacted them again to which they told me the courier is unable to deliver it anymore. They told me it’ll be delivered be another courier and since then it’s been delay after delay or just no contact at all. Customer service team sound half asleep on the phone and don’t seem to care + emails take forever to be responded to. I would cancel if I didn’t have to wait weeks for a new bed to come but at this point I might just do it.”
