Very sketchy setup. While trying to book a rental car through Opodo, I wasn’t clearly informed that a 900 euro deposit would be charged before the booking was even finalized. The whole process felt intentionally vague.
Worse, when I noticed the charge just 5 minutes later and tried to cancel, they refused to refund even half of the amount. That’s completely unreasonable.
Feels like a trap for customers who trust the interface too quickly. I expected more transparency and fairness. Definitely not booking through Opodo again.
