I bought a ticket with carry-on luggage included in the tariff from Opodo. However, the airline informed me that no carry-on luggage is permitted. I contacted Opodo for support and was told that it’s not their responsibility to know the airline’s luggage rules. This is unacceptable—if the ticket clearly states that carry-on luggage is included, as the intermediary you must ensure your offer matches the airline’s policies. You sold me this service, so you are responsible.
This response is completely unprofessional. I truly regret buying my ticket through Opodo instead of directly from the airline. It feels like a scam, and it’s a shame that such a company is allowed to operate.
