I booked a flight from the Philippines to the UK. Simple enough but, I also booked a round trip for my gf . Unfortunately her visa was refused so I had to cancel the flight. The round trip cost £998 and, they refunded me less than half of what I paid given that had almost 3 months to resell the seat. My girlfriends name appeared on the Opodo app and, my trip details were not accessible. To cut a long story short, I had to phone their customer service and, sort it out. Its just as well I had kept the email with their reference number. As of this moment, I am concerned that I might get turned away at the airport because, of this cockup. The customer service was okay even though she suggested, I wanted to cancel the flight? That was never case and, I have to leave the Philippines because, my tourist visa will expire.
