AVOID Parcel2Go!!!
I booked a next day home collection through Parcel2Go. Unfortunately, although I waited in all day, the courier did not show.
So I had a webchat with Parcel2Go who sent me a DHL label I could use for drop off
and told me that I could take my parcel to Bina News (over a mile away) - which I did - but having dragged it all the way there, they told me that they don't take DHL
I was on foot, by the way, with a heavy parcel.
So I lugged it all the way to Robert Dyas in North Finchley - (well over another mile away with my bulky, heavy parcel) - as they definitely do DHL
But at Robert Dyas, they told me they couldn't send the parcel because there was no 10 digit waybill number on the label.
So I took it to another shop in North Finchley that does parcels - and the guy there scanned it but said his courier doesn't do DHL anymore.
I had to send the package that day because my buyer was expecting it. I could not contact Parcel2Go because they do not appear to have any published phone number - and I can't do a webchat on my phone.
So, in the end, I had to take it back to Robert Dyas, where I had to repackage the item - because they needed to see what it was apparently, and pay them a further £19.95 to get the thing sent.
This fiasco meant I had to stay in a whole day and then waste the whole afternoon the following day.
Parcel2Go would not refund me the extra £19.95.
Time, stress and money.
AVOID Parcel2Go!!!
I'm told that Packlink are pretty reliable.
