ParcelForce Global Express service sounded efficient and fast. I was able to track the parcel. It was expensive ,almost £50, but the contents were important.
The sending it via post office was easy and efficient.
Everything seemed to be going correctly until I noticed that the parcel which was set for international delivery suddenly seemed to be back to my locality on the day it was due to be delivered . I called Customer Service who said they cannot do anything to help. I was told there was an error in Parcel Force’s part.They cannot resend it. They could not help with the claim (which has taken 4 weeks to get an actual result) I could actually recommend to Parcel Force management that a voice message to state the process would suffice- Customer Service cannot do anything and you must claim online .
Also there was never an apology. Not at any point whatsoever .
I would also like to point out that the online claim service is antiquated and inadequate . Not at all user friendly.
So Parcel Force managed to ruin my mother’s birthday…and considering it is at a time of pandemic it is even more significant as I cannot go and visit her.
I would have not given even one star but this option was not available.
I have no option to a poorer service but should I have to come across it , I will most certainly pass this information on.
