If there's a problem with loss or damage they don't take responsibility and their customer service is appalling...Evri has really improved its level of service and is way better than Parcelforce.. The drivers are miserable sods too.. I won't be using them again.”

ParcelForce is consistently disappointing. The driver doesn’t even bother to knock or call before marking parcels as “undeliverable.” I updated the Royal Mail app with clear safe place instructions, but these were completely ignored. This isn’t a oneoff issue it has happened multiple times, and it’s very frustrating. Customers shouldn’t have to chase their own parcels when drivers can’t be bothered to try. Very poor service.”
“Parcel force courier stole my parcel ( £100 in the drain ) . Parcel was book to be collected on 12/09/2025 and the Courier come and collected without scanning it . Now the parcel is not in the system. When you call the Parcel force customer service ( after 1 hour of waiting on the phone ) nobody listen to you or try to help you , not even to call the local depot to check .I'll never ever use them again!!!”
“Parcel Force – probably the worst company I have ever dealt with, they are incompetent, lack integrity and I guess have serious problems!
My item promptly arrived in the UK from Germany via DHL taking 5 days and cleared customs 2 days later but it has now been in the hands of Parcel Force for 10 days.
I paid a customs fee and selected delivery Monday 15 September. I waited all day but there was no delivery.
Tuesday afternoon 16 September I viewed Parcel Force track and trace, it said delivery was attempted at 11:51 and the driver left a card. I was not home because I had no idea they would be calling and a card was not left.
Next, I re-booked delivery for Wednesday 17 September, viewing Parcel Force track and trace that day at 13:00 it said delivery was attempted at 11:31 and the driver left a card. I was home, nobody called and no card was left (I guess they did not really call on Tuesday 16 September either?).
It is very difficult to contact a Parcel Force advisor by telephone because they use an obfuscated automated system (on 1 occasion after 47 minutes waiting on the telephone I disengaged).
I completed complaints forms and sent letters of complaint by recorded delivery.
Friday 19 September I received an email from the Escalated Customer Resolution Team saying the item would be delivered Saturday 20 September - it did not happen.
Parcel Force seems to be attempting to build a fake history of delivery attempts and therefore I can only assume something is amiss. Has the item been lost, stolen, damaged or destroyed, and is Parcel Force attempting to avoid refunding the import fee by orchestrating a fake delivery history?
I have tried to be really reasonable, saying on more than 1 occasion if Parcel Force provides detail of the depot where my item is located in Manchester. Then I would be willing to collect myself, but I have heard nothing – it all seems very nefarious and suspicious!
This may become a county court matter.”

“I am so fed up with the lack of customer service. I have a parcel that must go on Parcelforce not royal mail due to its length. Parcelforce did not turn up but my local postman did and he can't take it as it's too big, which is fair enough.
So, I try to speak to Parcelforce customer service and after going through a torturous automated system finally get put in the 50minute queue to speak to someone. Guess what after 15 minutes I get cut off. I can't be bothered to go through this again so will have to go to the depot and drop it off. Totally useless and it's not the fault of the operatives it is the management that have messed this up.”
“I am very disappointed with Parcelforce. For order PFW11212652, a £32 Large Package surcharge was applied incorrectly. They recorded the parcel as 163 × 47 × 58 cm, but we only use a standard box 120 × 30 × 30 cm. This mistake caused unnecessary costs and makes the service feel unreliable. I hope Parcelforce improves their accuracy and customer service.”

“The reason for having the ability to track an item is to help receive delivery. On several occasions its turned up before the tracking says its out for delivery, which had required a delayed delivery as no one was home to receive it 😢”
“Parcel stuck in limbo, once figuring out the absurd way of contacting an advisor and waiting an hour and a half I was told rather rudely and shortly they could not assisst nor was there any department that could assisst my issue, rep then got very curt started talking over me repeating the same 3 lines when asked to escalate she pointed to the complaints portion of the site and hung up.

“Sender used Parcelforce 24 to send my package. 4 weeks later it still hasn't arrived !!! He launched an enquiry which they are supposed to respond to within 48hrs, no reply from them yet either. I called a customer support agent (on hold for over an hour) to be told they don't know where the parcel is !!!!
My advice .... DO NOT USE Parcel Force !!!! It may or may nor arrive ..... if it doesn't, the tracking number means nothing !!!!! Use Parcel to Go and find a small Independant delivery company if you want piece of mind. Royal Mail & PArcel force are not what they used to be !!!!”
“Dreadful. Held an item for nearly two weeks despite paying the requested customs charge. They still can’t even tell me why nobody has put my parcel back into circulation in order for it to be delivered. 5 members of staff I’ve spoken to and not one of them has been able to actually help”
“An International parcel was sent to me from China. Customs and handling was paid on the 1st Sep and was, according to Parcelforce, be delivered on the 3rd. after 5 phone calls, each call an hour waiting time, for someone to talk. After finally getting through to an adviser said she would escalated to a supervise who was going to give me a call that day. 3 days later and that phone call never came. Its now 9 days late.
I wouldn't trust them to deliver so be aware.”
“Their merger with Royal Mail will most likely be the end for both companies. As someone who uses them at my place of work I would recommend to anyone to stay well clear, we will be using someone else from next week onwards. Shame as Parcelforce were not too bad for several years.”
