If I could give Parcelforce 0 stars I would. I was expecting a large, expensive delivery today. Not only was I home ALL DAY and the driver did not once ring my doorbell (which is very loud), but for some reason the packages were handed off to a complete stranger. I live on a long street in London and do not know all my neighbours, so when a delivery driver leaves an expensive package without my authorisation to someone I don't know who lives half-way up my street, I feel a right to complain. I called Parcelforce TWICE and they were astonishingly unhelpful; while I had the name of the person who signed for my package they could not tell me the address at which the person signed. Apparently it is their policy to deliver to neighbours WITHOUT CONSENT. I'm stunned by how stupid this policy is. Now I have to go and knock on lots more doors...
