I sent a parcel using priority delivery for a reason because it was time sensitive as my friend (the receiver) was going away after 4 days and I was also going away for holidays. And because of a mistake made by their employee who didn’t attach the necessary document that describes the content of the parcel. The delivery was delayed and my the receiver already left the city.
I called before I leave for holidays they told me that its fine the parcel will stay in the depot until your friend comes back and collect it.
When I came back from holidays I saw that I received a letter saying that they needed information about the receiver (which by the way was on the parcel) I sent that information as soon as I read it (I was on holidays so couldn’t read the Letter).
Then you told me its fine you will sort things out
Then I receive another letter saying that the parcel has been returned and either I pay 35 pounds or it will be destroyed
Conclusion
I paid for fast delivery
Now I should pay to get it back which means I am paying for THEM not doing Their job properly and nothing here was my fault. How is that fair ?
