Really bad experience. Ordered a specialist workstation PC on 22nd September. Today, 17th November it has still not shipped. I've called the customer support helpline at least twice per week for the last 3 weeks. Almost each time I'm told that the machine is next to be built, or it will definitely be with me by the end of the week. Lies. Once I've lost confidence in what they told me, I've asked to speak to a manager, or someone that can give me a better picture of what is happening. Only to be told that it is a 72hour wait to speak to a team leader, or a 7 day wait to speak to a manager. For a £3000 computer, that is already well beyond the initial quoted delivery timescale, I would expect a lot better communication! I appreciate that there are supply problems - but I expect them to tell me what the problem is, and to work out a solution that works for me - fobbing me off is just not good enough. Next time I'll pay the premium and purchase from Dell / HP.
