I have been further impressed by the technical expertise and excellent service that PC Specialist provide, having bought my last system from them 10 years ago (which is still working well). The online specification process is fairly intuitive and provides many options. But for those of us customers with rather limited up-to-date knowledge there is a danger of over-specifying one's true requirements. On discussing my order with a PC Specialist expert he was able to give me a refund of over £1000 because I had not realised that I did not need a workstation motherboard or more expensive Microsoft licence as I will not be using the computer as a server. They also advised me on a more appropriate case which was in stock. My order included a new keyboard and mouse but I ordered my new monitor (Dell U3023E 16:10) and specialist full duplex sound card (ESI Maya 44eX) separately. Their after sales advice has also been excellent.
