After being let down by another company that provided a dud computer and weren't willing to repair it and couldn't replace it as was discontinued, my friend recommended PC Specialist and said it was definitely worth getting a custom PC made. While I did spend about 25% more, I had a much higher spec than the other I had bought but it shows in the quality and the configuration options. Receiving a 3D image of the PC while it was being built was a nice touch. Having the SSD partitioned was a great free option. Runs smoothly and I know that by opting for a bigger case I have plenty of upgrade options later down the line. Very happy with my friend's recommendation. I didn't think custom was the route I needed to go down, but actually, I appreciate the extra care and attention taken to build something that meets my requirements without excess features.
