I'm very sorry to say I was extremely disappointed with PowerTools Direct customer service recently. Their prices are very competitive for the items I was after. However, despite paying extra for 2-3 days delivery the order took 14 days from point of order to delivery. I asked what compensation they would offer and was told they cannot offer any compensation. The items were for a carpentry taster course I was delivering. I was very badly let down by the company's inability to deliver my order on time. I did receive an email if I would like my delivery charge refunded!?! Obviously, I replied that I would. Seeing as how the total order was £12.43 including the £5.95 express delivery charge you might have thought the whole order would have been refunded but I was told in an email that that was not possible! As their prices are so good I might use them again but only if I am able to order a month in advance!
