Radix is my “go to” backcountry meal solution, and increasingly lunch or dinner on the go.
Specifically the plant based Keto version, v8.0. I’m really into the Mexican and the Peri Peri at the moment. But all are tasty, have a meal worthy texture; that you feel like you’re eating real food with chew, and texture, and identifiable flavours, not just a blended moosh.
The trick with these is to treat them like a “dry curry” if you’ve ever had one of those. Rehydrate them perhaps just under the instruction amount, and the colour, texture and flavours of the real ingredients comes out, and they’re much less, a homogeneous slurry like other brands and more a beautiful, colourful, delicious meal.
