I find rightmove excellent when looking for property to rent or purchase. It gives you a very good idea of house prices within different áreas and the maps / schools / Street view options are excellent for getting a general feel of áreas that you do not know.
I had an overseas property for sale with rightmove but sadly didnot get the desired response. Perhaps the uk marketing side is working much better that the overseas, as this is not as well know to other overseas purchasers.
