A couple of things I think would appeal to (perhaps only?) U.S. customers: floor plans, lots of windows, high ceilings, generous closet space (bedroom walk-ins, kitchen pantry, utilities & other storage), washer & dryer, hardwood flooring (not laminate), minimum one and a half baths (master bedroom ensuite, plus powder room for guests) quietude (through walls & floors, mature community -few or no kids), non-smoking building, parking, heating/ac. Equally important are scenic geography of local area (including shorelines & other waterways, green space, architecture historic & modern mix), infrastructure (transportation & walkability), safety & security, cultural amenities, restaurants & shops, city/country multi-ethnic community.
