My yellow gingham check rug is just what I wanted! I read other reviews where the buyer thought the rug looked dirty and that there were areas without loops of wool....however, I am a fiber artist and I understand that I dyed natural wool from a “white” sheep looks off-white in color, not bright white. The “white” in this rug is a natural off-white. Also, the only sparse looking parts were from the way the rows of hooking got compacted when rolled up and shipped. I unrolled it, saw how those lines looked sparse, simply rubbed the rug here and there with my foot, and it was fine. You could also vacuum it to get it all brushed. Overall, it’s the size and style I needed for my space. I’m pleased.
