This was my second Scanpan purchase, having worn out one of my first pans. They do last a long time, but my husband used a knife to cut something in the pan, having forgotten the instructions I gave him not to do that. So, follow the directions carefully, and you will be pleased with the results. I use my two nonstick Scanpans every day, in addition to my good regular pans. I highly recommend them, and if you watch for sales, you can save some money.
