For my b-day, I bought the Classic 11 pc. cookware set to upgrade my dated pots & pans. I got my first scanpan in the early 2000's and still have 1 pot & 3 frying pans that are usable & going to our son. If I am getting 15 - 20 years out of some cookware, then I am pretty pleased. The new cookware is awesome and am so pleased with the purchase. You have to be good to them...no scrubbies, no dishwasher. If you do, you will be rewarded with some pretty impressive pans, e.g. cooking scrabbled eggs, making big batches of sauce, etc. You have made this home cook smile when reaching for one of the new pots or pans.
