I used Serenata Flowers on two occasions, the first was Mothers day this year. I received an email from them confirming her flowers where received & signed for, however a quick call to my mum said otherwise. We found the flowers stuffed behind her wheelie bin in the back garden 2 days later, but never did find out who signed for them.
After the first incident I gave them the benefit of the doubt and foolishly used them again this week (December 2015). Mums birthday flowers never arrived on the agreed day, but they did have the decency to email me with the following statement “Your flowers were miss-routed and wont be available for delivery today, your original order will be delivered, however we are unable to specify when this will take place. A refund should appear in your account within 3-5 days”.
And this is where the fun starts, because Serenata flowers don’t have any customer service telephone numbers. All contact must be through a website contact form. I tried tracking the package through the couriers website (Yodel) which said the flowers were in Southampton on my mums birthday ..... not a million miles away but they were expected in North Wales!
Customers service emails are laughable really with quotes like:
“Serenata Flowers are leading the way in providing the highest level of online based customer service support, meaning we do not provide telephone based support."
"This does mean you will have the utmost help and support at all times, from all our highly trained customer support team."
Which all sounds very reassuring until there's a problem. A quick web search for Serenata customer reviews turns out I'm not the only one who has had problems. I should of checked before using them really which is my fault, but thankfully our paths will not be crossing again. Save your money and sanity and shop elsewhere!
